Clouds forecast as Easynet launches Virtual Private Server

In recent research1, Easynet found that 61% of European CIOs are concerned about security in Cloud computing. Today, Easynet directly addresses these concerns around security and Cloud by launching Virtual Private Server. This fully integrates with Easynet’s Smart MPLS to give customers a complete solution in the cloud.
Without cost or space restrictions, Virtual Private Server gives organisations the security of a physical server but with the flexibility normally associated with public cloud requirements. Built on industry leading VSphere technology from VMWare to address the needs of the enterprise market, it is available to customers on a flexible short-term or cost-effective long-term basis.
As an alternative to dedicated, customer-owned servers it is perfect for those businesses wanting to provision extra IT capacity for seasonal business fluctuations, for a specific campaign or a certain project in the Cloud, or for those concerned about security implications of servers on-site. It is also ideal for those who are looking to test out the Cloud model and see if it is right for their business, without committing to a long-term investment.
The full service offering is wholly managed by Easynet, and can be integrated with Easynet’s MPLS networking service for existing Easynet customers.
