Easynet appoints Debbie Robertson as global marketing director

Easynet has announced the appointment of Debbie Robertson as global marketing director. The new role will see Robertson oversee the combined marketing efforts of the group’s two major brands, Easynet Connect and Easynet Global Services. Effective immediately, Robertson will report into Koen Vanpraet, global sales & marketing director.
As global marketing director, Robertson will develop brand and go-to-market strategies for both businesses, cementing Easynet Global Services’ position as a leading worldwide provider of managed network, hosting and value added integration services, such as Telepresence and Easynet Connect’s reputation as the leading business internet service provider (ISP) focused on the needs of small-to-medium sized businesses (SMEs).
Robertson has been promoted into the role from Easynet Connect, which she joined in 2007. As marketing and sales director, Robertson helped establish Easynet Connect as one of the leading UK ISPs. Robertson will continue to build on her past successes for Easynet Connect, including strong brand and partnership activity. Prior to joining Easynet, Debbie held senior marketing positions at Avaya, BT, NTL and Dell and is a member of the B2B Council at the Institute of Direct Marketing.
